Supervision

Session of Supervision for Counselor professionals and socio-educational teams

What is Supervision?
Supervision is a fundamental process for professional counselors, aimed at continuous support in the development of skills, maintaining professional effectiveness, and promoting personal and professional well-being.
It offers a safe space to reflect on one's work, explore relational dynamics, and receive constructive feedback from a more experienced person.

Through a Supervision path, you have the possibility to:
Improve technical and relational skills
Reflect on ethics and deontology themes to ensure adherence to professional standards
Explore and manage the emotional impact of work on the professional
Increase the effectiveness of work with clients

Supervision paths can be carried out both individually and in groups and represent an essential pillar to ensure good counseling practices, favoring a continuous process of learning, reflection, and professional growth.

For some years, I have been dealing with the supervision of socio-educational teams within cooperatives and third-sector entities.
Supervision of educational teams favors the professional growth of operators and the well-being of users.

Within a group supervision path, it is possible to work on:
1 - Critical reflection on daily practices to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
2 - Offering spaces for continuous learning, updating, and personal growth for educators.
3 - Supporting the well-being of operators through the comparison and sharing of experiences.
4 - Improving internal communication, collaboration, and cohesion among the members of the work team.

Supervision of educational teams represents a fundamental resource for the enhancement of professional skills, the quality of services offered, and the cohesion of the work team, creating an environment of continuous learning and mutual support.

Method:
Group supervision has a monthly or bi-weekly frequency, a duration of two hours, and is generally carried out at the requesting entity.
